Dave Heaton

My name is Dave and I am one of the Directors at Enhancing Lives Community Care. I work in close harmony with Michelle and Tara to ensure that everyone using our service is treated equally, and with dignity and respect. Our aim is to create a happy, caring environment for everyone both the individuals we support as well as family and carers.

I have worked in the social care sector for over 26 years and in that time I have worked in a variety of settings including Day Care, Autism, supported living and on a 1-1 basis, giving me a broad spectrum of experience. My qualifications include NVQ level 3 in promoting independence, Autism and positive behaviour support plus many more relevant to this role and my position, from ME learning and in house training gathered at my previous employment.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family especially my 2 grandchildren Poppy and Leo. On a personal level outside of work, I have 3 interests namely working with a genesis Tribute band named Mama. Secondly is my undying support of Bolton Wanderers (no glory hunting here), again hopefully now on the long road to recovery to former glories. And last but by no means least is my love of watching and playing sports such as F1, cricket, football and golf. I try as often as possible to get out and have a round with my mates as to me it's so important to have release from the day to day rigours of work.
