Celebrating Christmas with Two Trips!

We have enjoyed two trips out this week.

On Wednesday we visited Astley Hall which was all decked out for Christmas. Our task was to find the elves that were hidden in each room.

On Thursday a group visited Elizabeth Gaskell’s house which again was all decorated for Christmas. We enjoyed listening to Christmas Carols being played on the piano. Michele and Sammy had a singalong.

Our other activities this week have included:

• Community Zumba

• Ball games

• Numeracy

• Music with Phil

• Meditation

• Drama

Today Bluebells Pottery returned to drop off the finished Christmas pottery we have made. They will be coming home soon in the Christmas bags we have been putting together.

Other News

We have a trip booked at the Octagon – A Christmas Carol on Friday and in the afternoon it’s our Christmas Lifeboats event. Carols: 2pm–3pm — mince pies + refreshments

Raffle tickets are still on sale £1 each.
