Christmas at Bents, a Visit to Blackburn Cathedral and a big welcome to YuYu!

We have started early with our Christmas activities. On Tuesday we went to Bents Garden Centre to see all the Christmas displays, very magical. On Wednesday we had a trip out to Blackburn Cathedral to see the Moon Exhibition, this was another wow, when we all entered the cathedral.


Some of our other activities have included:


  • Community Zumba

  • Christmas Quiz

  • Bug bingo

  • Karaoke (with lots of Christmas Carols!)

  • Mill Cafe visit

  • Skittles


Other news:


  • We have a new student YuYu from Bury College who will be completing a 100 hour placement with us every Monday.

  • We are selling raffle tickets @ £1 a ticket for a Christmas Gin and Mint hamper. All money raised will help us get even closer to our ELCC mini bus goal!

  • Next Thursday we are going to see the Jungle Book at the Octagon theatre for one of our Christmas activities!
