Even though it's been a short week, we have all been up to lots.
We started the week with our work experience for the Community Grocery packing lots of crisps and later we had lots of fun with the biggest balloon we have ever seen!
On Wednesday we had a fantastic time experiencing travelling on the stream train (the East Lancashire Railway). Sam and Michael were lucky enough to get up into the ‘cab’ with the driver. We even got to have lunch on the train which was very different and fun.
After our train journey we had the best hot chocolate ever in the Lamppost Café - as you can see in the photos below.
On Thursday we had fun on the bikes at Wheels for All and in the afternoon we celebrated Adele’s birthday, which is on Sunday, with dancing, party games, cake and goodies. We really appreciated the scones, jam and cream - thanks Jim!
We began today in the Mill Café with a drink and afterwards we headed over to the auditorium where we had a game of animal bingo. In the afternoon, Alan from Lifebeats came to do a music session with us, we especially enjoyed playing the drums.
On Sunday Michelle and Derek as well as our team members - Michelle and Michele (too many Michelles lol!) are going on a boat trip at the Anderton Centre, pictures to come!
