RHS Bridgewater Wellbeing session and a trip to Apple Cast Farm

We had a great day at our wellbeing session at the RHS Bridgewater on Tuesday. Everyone enjoyed walking around the community gardens. After we all ventured into the polytunnel to do some planting. We planted lots of different herbs and then we even planted some potatoes in a huge Ikea bag using lots of compost and straw!

Wednesday was another great day - we visited Apple Cast Farm, we saw lots of different animals from rescued owls, sheep, deer, goats, turkeys and pigs. We also saw two calves being given bottles of milk!

On Thursday we had our lottery funded activity with Janet Rhodes at Moses Gate Country Park. Firstly we did a treasure hunt - Michael found the lost treasure, we then fed the swans and geese followed by some pond dipping before finishing the morning off with marshmallow toasting! Thanks so much Janet for a fabulous morning.

In the afternoon Pei Yan visited us which was lovely!

We have also enjoyed parachute games, music with Phil and Dom and celebrated Marie's birthday which was on Sunday. Thanks lots to Marie's brothers David and Jon for the pasty and peas for everyone.
