Monday was lovely, we went for a leisurely walk around Rivington and then stopped by at The Great House Barn for a drink and then a picnic outside. On Tuesday we started the day off with our work experience for the Community Grocery where we helped with a few different tasks; labelling, packing and sealing. Later we had a fun game of Jenga and then in the afternoon we made a card together for Tara's birthday before finishing the day with our Tuesday dancing. Wednesday's trip out was very exciting! We visited The World of Glass in St Helens, we were mesmerised by the glassblowing demonstration and we enjoyed learning about the history of glass. We had a first on Thursday for Michelle at Wheels for All, where she got to try riding a bike on her own! We are so proud of the achievement. At ELCC we believe in a can-do approach and celebrating each individuals success in their own goals. Well done Michelle! Back at King's we finished the day with some sign singing. We visited the RHS Bridgewater on Friday, the gardens are so beautiful and we really enjoyed sitting by the water features having our lunch. An extra day this week so we made the most of it on Saturday with tea out at Cotton Kier and an evening at Phab Club where we saw some old friends.
Another completely jam packed week! We love the memories we create at ELCC.
