Welcome Alex!

This week we have welcomed Alex to the ELCC family!

On Monday we took part in the lottery funded activity at Moses Gate with Janet. We did some pond dipping and even found a water scorpion, then we did some flower prints followed by making some fruit crumble!

Wednesday we visited the Lowry and went to see the Quentin Blake exhibition, Nina especially liked looking at the Matilda illustrations. We even went into the 360 Lowry exhibition again - Nina and Eve hadn't seen it before. Both are definitely worth a visit!

On Thursday we had a lovely time at RHS Bridgewater - we firstly spent time in the wellbeing garden doing some planting and then harvesting. At the end of the session we all went in the polly tunnel and made some lavender sensory bags - the smell was amazing.

To finish the week some of the group went to another lottery funded activity at the Anderton Centre - water activities on the canoes and wheelyboat. We all had lots of fun and after enjoyed a hot meal.

Other news;

We had our annual AGM which was held on Monday. Michelle made some cakes which Eve sold on her stall! We made £38 which will be going towards our mini bus funds.
