We have had an extremely busy week and also welcomed our new team member Pei Yan, Michele made some delicious fairy buns to celebrate the occasion.
Our week began on Monday - we all worked on our life skills and talked about all the dangers we could encounter at home and what we should and shouldn't do.
In the afternoon we had a fantastic session with Kronik Warriors, Corey the volunteer put everyone through their paces. We all love our time with Luiz and Martin.
Tuesday, we had a lovely morning and joined 'Toastie Tuesdays' at the mill café, we all enjoyed some toast and a drink. In the afternoon we made some 'Crispy cakes' to take home.
Wednesday we all visited World Horse Welfare Penny Farm, we had a look around at all the horses and ponies who have been rescued and undergoing rehabilitation. We also had the opportunity to get up close to Lizzie the pony.
Thursday we had another trip to Bridgewater RHS Therapeutic gardening, we harvested the potatoes that we had planted in May and everyone took some home. We also experienced 'Forest Bathing' where we could relax in the shade (it was a very hot day).
Today Phil entertained us all with a music session and in the afternoon we did some colouring along with some work for the Community Grocery.

This week Michael and Alan have had the opportunity to do some work experience - pricing for the Community Grocery and Eve priced up the toilet rolls.
