A very busy week for ELCC as usual.
Monday - Sammy worked hard in the Community Grocery, one of her jobs was sorting out all of the fruits and vegetables. Well done Sammy! We also joined the Community Zumba group and all had fun keeping fit. After, we worked on our life skills, looking at the value of coins. In the afternoon we all had a go at our archery skills, both Michael's were very talented!
Tuesday - We packed some food for the Community Grocery, we played Jenga and in the afternoon we made some delicious chocolate cakes.
Wednesday - We all went on the bus into Manchester and visited the Aviva studios to see Yayoi Kusama: You, Me and the Balloons exhibition, which was a very unusual but fun experience.
Thursday - Phil entertained us in the morning with a lovely music session and in the afternoon we got the parachute out and had lots of fun, even parents Mark and Lorraine had a go! In the evening we enjoyed NightLife.
Friday - We did indoor gardening, and in the afternoon Alan from Lifebeats joined us. We all learnt some new signs and different beats, we all had great fun. I think everyone at King's must have heard us we made that much noise!
Other ELCC news:
Eve is looking at doing some work soon in the Community Grocery for her work experience from college.
Our other news is that we will be celebrating our second anniversary on Friday the 22nd September 1.30pm till 3pm. Everyone will be taking part in a show with Alan from Lifebeats. Make sure you save the date as all families and friends are invited along to watch the show and enjoy some refreshments!!
